SICK i10 Series Safety Switch, 300N Locking Force, IP67 - i10-E0253 Lock

This safety switch is a power-to-lock interlock designed for industrial guard monitoring and locking applications. It features electro-mechanical operation with diagnostic-capable wiring and is intended for environments where a sealed enclosure and moderate temperature range are required. The actuator is not supplied with delivery.

Features and Benefits:

• Power-to-lock operation provides controlled locking force
• 2NC safety contacts enable positive-action monitoring
• Rated for 4A current at AC and DC for direct control
• Encapsulated housing resists ingress to IP67 standard
• Operates between -20°C and +55°C for varied climates

Applications

• Suitable for machine-guard locking with safety logic units
• Used for access control where waterproof protection is required
• Ideal for systems requiring electro-mechanical contact outputs
• Can be used with diagnostic wiring for safety circuits
• Used in installations demanding positive-action contacts

What type of electrical outputs does it provide?

It provides electro-mechanical contacts with two positive-action N/C safety contacts and an additional N/O door-monitoring contact.

What supply voltage is required for the solenoid?

The solenoid requires a DC supply in the range 20.4V DC to 26.4V DC.

How should fault detection be handled?

The device lacks internal fault detection so the connected safety-related logic unit must perform fault monitoring.

What wiring and connection provisions are available?

Cable entries accept three M20 glands and conductors from 0.34mm² to 1.5mm² can be used.
