Schneider Electric Series DF Rail Mount Fuse Holder, 50A Current, 690V Voltage - DF143NC

This rail-mount fuseholder is designed to carry 14x51mm tubular fuses and to be installed on a 35mm DIN rail in industrial control and power distribution panels. It provides a compact, rail-mounted solution for three-phase Plus NEUTRAL arrangements at voltages up to 690V and is intended for use where clear fuse indication and straightforward switching are required.

Features & Benefits

• 50A rated operational current for high-load circuit protection
• Indicator fitted to show fuse status at a glance
• Screw-clamp terminals supporting up to 25mm² for secure connections
• Withstands 8 kV impulse voltage for transient resilience
• Short-circuit withstand up to 120 kA at 400V for fault survival
• Operates to +60 °C enabling high-temperature installations

Applications

• Suitable for motor control panels requiring 3-phase protection
• Ideal for distribution boards in manufacturing plants
• Used with aM or gG 14x51mm fuse cartridges in switchgear
• Can be used for power-supply isolation in automation racks
• Suitable for retrofitting existing 35mm DIN-rail systems

Which Terminal conductor types can be accommodated?

The unit accepts both rigid and flexible conductors

single conductors up to 25mm² on one Terminal and up to 10mm² on the other set of Terminals, with connections tightened to 3.5 N·m.

How does it cope with elevated ambient temperatures?

It is specified for operation between −20 °C and +60 °C with derating applied above 20 °C to maintain performance.

What mechanical mounting orientation is allowed?

It is designed for vertical mounting with a tolerance of ±23° on a symmetrical 35mm DIN rail.

What standards and certification apply to its electrical safety?

It conforms to EN/IEC 60947-3 and EN/IEC 60269-2 and carries recognition under UL and CSA schemes.
