Eaton xEffect Series Fuse Holder, 160A Current, 800V Voltage - 183030 XNH00-FCE-A160-BT

This fuse holder is a three-pole device designed to accommodate NH000 and NH00 links for high-current protection in industrial switchgear. It mounts on a DIN rail or mounting plate and provides electronic monitoring of fuse-links with front-side actuation and Visual indication for straightforward operation in electrical distribution panels.

Features & Benefits

• Rated for continuous 160A operation ensures sustained load handling
• Insulation voltage 800V AC for high-voltage system compatibility
• Conditioned short-circuit rating 120 kA protects against fault stresses
• Electronic fuse monitoring with relay and LEDs enables remote supervision
• Box Terminal accepts 1.5mm² to 95mm² for flexible conductor sising
• IP20 operating protection with IP3X and IP10 variants enhances safety

Applications

• Suitable for low-voltage distribution boards in factories and plants
• Ideal for use with NH00 fuse-links in motor control centres
• Used for isolating and protecting feeder circuits up to 500V AC
• Can be used for panel-mounted power distribution in automation systems

What indication is provided for blown fuse detection?

The device features an electronic monitoring module with one normally open and one normally closed contact, a test button Plus LEDs including three red fault LEDs and one green status LED.

What are the connection methods for incoming and outgoing conductors?

Main circuit connections use frame clamps and box terminals, with flange connection accommodation for cable lugs up to 25mm width and M8 bolts.

How does the unit behave under varying frequency conditions?

The switching and contact frequency ratings cover 40 Hz to 60 Hz, while the electronic monitoring operates at 50 to 60 Hz.

What mechanical endurance can be expected for switching operations?

Mechanical life is specified at 1,400 operations with an electrical endurance of around 300 operations.

Are there environmental operating limits to consider?

Ambient operating range spans −25 °C to 55 °C with a recommended operating window of −5 °C to 55 °C for normal use.
