Thanks to its strong dielectric performance, PTFE is an excellent choice for applications that are susceptible to electromagnetic sensitivity. It also has a high level of chemical and radiation resistance. Its UL 94 V-0 fire safety certification from Underwriters' Laboratories means it will only burn for 30 seconds, so it's safe for use in demanding environments.

The rod offers low friction and adhesion to allow for smooth motion while reducing noise and heat. It's commonly used for bearings, gaskets and gears in food processing and industrial manufacturing applications.
