Schneider MCBs
Browse our incredible range of Schneider Electric MCCBs and ensure superior protection for your electrical circuits. Schneider Electric offer the largest selection of circuit breakers in the industry to ensure that you can find the perfect solution for any application.
How do MCCBs work?
Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs) are safety devices which protect electrical circuits from damage due to overloads and short circuits. They do this by interrupting the circuit when tripped by overcurrent. They can also be used to switch circuits. An MCCB can be reset either manually or automatically to continue normal operation.
MCCBs are better suited for fault detection with high-power equipment than MCBs as they can provide up to 2500 amps and have an interrupting rating up to 200,000 amps. This makes them ideal for use in commercial and industrial environments.
The new generation ComPact NSX and NSXm ranges by Schneider Electric feature wireless connectivity capabilities alongside an attractive new signature design. They provide an estimated 40% reduction in wiring time and allow simplified installation due to the new front-plate design. A toggle ensures easier manual operation. The ComPact NSXm models also feature a space-saving small frame size to allow reduced resource consumption. These MCCBS ensure world-class reliability and circuit protection even in highly demanding installations.
Schneider Electric's portfolio of high-quality and versatile MCCBs at RS are designed to give you the performance you deserve, and a solution you can trust. They are also leading the way in providing more sustainable and energy efficient products by improving the resource efficiency of the product lifecycle, so look out for their Green Premium label!
