The Advantech RS 422/485 Terminal Block Isolator provides 2 kV optical isolation to protect devices and data signals while allowing data extension up to 1.2 km (4000 ft). It supports adding up to 32 nodes to an RS 485 network and is designed for easy inline installation. The isolator requires an external 12 V DC power supply, which is included, and offers full Modbus protocol support for industrial communication.
