This insulation tester is a portable instrument for assessing high-voltage insulation resistance on switchgear, motors, generators and cables in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting workflows. It supports selectable DC test voltages from 250V up to 5000V and offers wireless data capture via an infrared-to-wireless connector and mobile app, enabling remote control and trend visualisation while reducing time spent on manual record-keeping.

The charger supports charging at approximately 5 s per μF and discharges at about 1.5 s per μF for capacitive loads.

What measurements beyond resistance can it perform?


It measures leakage current from 1 nA to 2 mA and capacitance from 0.01 μF to 20.00 μF with stated accuracy limits.
