These high-performance End and Diagonal Cutters features bi-material grips. This, with the long lever arm, gives you excellent cutting force with minimum pressure. The cutting edges were designed to cut all types of wire cleanly.

SLS Height Safe Tools
To help prevent accidents that affect health and productivity Facom brings you the SLS range of tools. They can withstand twice the weight of the tool and are real world tested. The metal design can withstand extreme shocks, temperatures and other harsh working conditions.

Traceable
An individual traction test is performed on each tool upon ring assembly. An inspection certificate is issued and a unique serial number engraved on the tool. Facom can hence follow up its production to guarantee maximum safety. The unique serial number also ensures that the tool is identified and followed throughout its lifetime.

Cutters are hand tools used to cut through wires and are available in a range of shapes and sizes to suit a variety of tasks and applications. The most common type of cutter head is oval, tapered and angled. The type of cut produced depends on the bevel of the cutter. Semi-flush cutters are more durable and produce a quick cut rough rougher edges, whereas an ultra-flush bevel will produce a much cleaner cut but is susceptible to damage. What material is this cutter suitable with?
These cutters have cutting edges designed to cut all types of wire: piano wire, soft wires and modern materials 200 kg/mm².

What sizes of Cutters are available?
Cutters come in a variety of sizes ranging from 110mm to 280mm (overall length). If a model type comes in different lengths, the jaws will be the same length but the handles will be either shorter or longer. They are usually light in weight due to the fact they are carried around a lot but heavier types with a wide jaw and thick blades are able to cut thicker wires. These cutters come in overall lengths 160mm and 200mm.

What’s the difference between Flush Cutters and Side Cutters?
Flush cutters cut a wire level whereas side cutters or diagonal cutters cut on an angle meaning the wire edge will be cut to one side. Flush cutters also leave a smoother and more even end of the wire.

Care and maintenance
Do not force cutters to cut through material that is too hard for them as it can damage the blades by chipping or blunting them. These hand tools can be cleaned with soap and water, especially the blades, to remove dirt which could cause issues with the joints and encourage corrosion.
