Beta TX Series
The Beta TX series from Global Laser consists of high-quality laser diode modules. These modules combine a laser diode, a driver and modulation circuitry, and a collimating lens. All housed in a black powder coated brass body which is electrically isolated
A high-quality adjustable lens enables the Beta TX modules to provide a highly collimated visible beam. This quality is ideal for precision applications such as alignment, edge detection and targeting.
The visible laser spot size is adjustable by simply shining it onto a suitable target and adjusting using the focusing tool provided.
The lasers can be amplitude modulated using digital or analogue signals over a frequency range of 100 Hz to 50 MHz. This feature makes them ideal for use in data transmission and audio/video communications.
Electrical Connections:
Black: -Vcc
Green: 0v
White: Interlock
Blue: TTL disable
Green & yellow (twisted pair): Modulation

Note
The spot size is obtained by optical measurement at a distance of 25mm.
Warning
These laser diode modules are OEM devices and conform to the emission criteria of BS (EN) 60825. It is recommended that this standard and the Data Sheet are read before these lasers are used. Serious eye damage may result if any laser of 1mW or above is pointed directly at the eye.
