Sensata Cynergy3 External Horizontal Float Switch, 1A, 1m Cable - RSF80 Series - RSF88H100R

Need a reliable level sensor for your large industrial tank? This external float switch from Sensata Cynergy3 is designed for mounting through the wall of a tank, making it a good choice for applications where there's no access to the inside of the tank. You can fit the switch to achieve either a normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) action by simply rotating it through 180º, making it a versatile choice. It's ideal for controlling and monitoring the level of aggressive substances, such as hydraulic and gearbox oil.

Features & Benefits

• Polypropylene (PP) construction for durability and resistance to wear

• Includes 1m lead-outs for quick and simple wiring

• Broad operating temperature range of -20°C to +100°C for use in demanding environments

What's the difference between a vertical float and a horizontal float?

A horizontally mounted float sensor usually has a threaded fitting that passes through the side wall of a tank with a hinged float attached to the stem. Vertical mount types normally have a vertical stem that's installed through the top or bottom of a tank.
