RS PRO AV Adapter, Male HDMI to Female VGA
This adapter from RS PRO converts a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) source into a video graphics array (VGA) display. You can use it to send an HDMI signal from a computer to a VGA connection on an older screen.
The unit also includes a stereo jack that you can hook up to your speakers for sound. The VGA plug is made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), an extremely strong plastic that holds up well to wear and tear. The plug won't rust, so it provides a long-lasting protective casing to wires. Once this adapter is plugged in, it installs on your device in seconds without the need for other software or hardware.
This product is handy wherever there's a need to bridge the divide between new and old computers and monitors. It's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant meaning it contains only minimal amounts of any harmful substances.
