RS PRO HSS #4-40 Spiral Point Threading Tap, 48 mm Length


Use this threading tap from RS PRO to create a female thread. The tap has a straight flute design and an angular cutting point. This construction leaves the flutes clear of shavings to reduce the risk of clogging and enable free coolant flow.

The spiral-point tap is suitable for hand tapping without the need for a lead tap. Its high-speed steel (HSS) material is tough enough to withstand friction and heat caused by heavy-duty use, giving you a long-lasting component.
