Hakko FR-40001 ultra heavy-duty de-soldering tool. Designed for the difficult rework of large mass components, such as high current inductor coils, heat sinks and large transformers. The high mass of the heater and nozzle combined with power and control of the heating cartridge, allows for rework of the most challenging solder joints without pre-heating.

The anti-clogging features ensure instantaneous application of peak vacuum pressure to the solder joint and prevents premature release of the vacuum system.

The solder collection chamber is 3 times larger in capacity than other Hakko de-soldering stations, easy to clean and reuse.
