Introducing the range of RS PRO FKM O-Ring Cords, ideal for sealing applications that involve water and steam to prevent weathering. The fluorocarbon material offers excellent resistance to temperature extremes, thermal cycling and chemicals, making it ideal for use in aircraft, automotive and chemical industries. Thanks to the flexible FKM rubber, the cord is pliable enough to be easily bent into most shapes and to fit awkward spaces, making it suitable for use across a wide range of applications and environments.

The range of RS PRO O-ring cords are ideal for use across a wide range of applications, letting you quickly and reliably repair and install the most common machine seals like sealing washers or gaskets, in return reducing downtime by quickly fixing these components

It is a circular gasket that is compressed and creates a vacuum seal between surfaces, which prevents air, fluid or lubricants from leaking out

The FKM rubber material offers excellent chemical and ozone resistance and is ideal for applications where temperature extremes and thermal cycling is present

In addition to this, the flexibility of the material means that the seal won’t deform when under pressure, and can retain its original shape after being compressed

Easy to install and cut to size, the O-ring cord can be packed securely into gaps that are much smaller than its original form by being stretched during installation
