RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Round Bar, 30 mm x 1 m
Use this light yet strong aluminium rod for any high-stress construction projects. The metal rod from the RS PRO range is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications as it's corrosion-resistant and can withstand air, water and heat exposure. It's commonly used in the construction and manufacturing industries.
Ideal for use in high-stress situations, including for bridges, cranes and transport settings, its tensile strength of 310 Min MPa allows it to cope with significant loads and stresses before bending, stretching or breaking. Made from the medium-strength aluminium alloy 6082-T6, the bars have excellent resistance to corrosion resistance and are therefore suitable for long-term exposure outdoors. With a thermal conductivity of 180 W/mk, the aluminium rod is an excellent heat and electricity conductor. Heat treat the rods to shape the round bar to fit your needs.
