RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Round Bar, 25 mm x 1 m
This lightweight round metal bar from the RS PRO series is strong enough to bear heavy weights. The 6082-T6 aluminium rod is popular for use in high-stress conditions in the construction and manufacturing industries.
This rod is suitable to both indoor and outdoor applications as it is corrosion-resistant and can withstand air, water and heat exposure. With a tensile strength of 310 MPa, it can resist a large amount of stress before bending, warping or breaking. This makes it particularly suitable when building bridges, trusses or cranes. This metal rod is made from medium-strength 6082 aluminium alloy – the strongest of the 6000 alloy series. The rod can be shaped by heat treating to fit your requirements.
You'll find this aluminium rod used in many transport applications. As part of the RS PRO range, it's been thoroughly tested for reliability and quality.
