RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Round Bar, 20 mm x 1 m

RS PRO 6082 T6 aluminium rods have excellent corrosion resistance and can withstand air, water and heat, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor projects. They're widely used in construction and manufacturing industries in high-stress situations.

As the aluminium rods have a tensile strength of 310 Min MPA, they can withstand a large amount of stress before they stretch, warp or break. These metal bars are made from a medium-strength 6082 aluminium alloy – the strongest of the 6000 alloy series, commonly used in anything from beer barrels to bridges. You can shape the round bar to suit your particular needs by heat-treating the rods.
