Product Details
This connector is capable of connecting a wide variety of circuits including signal and power supply circuits. The housing and contact are secured by the housing lance and the contact lance which make use of the contact spring. Thus, the contact is easily inserted into the housing with little force, and is locked securely. Improved solderability due to a wide area of solder tails.
Slim, low-profile design
The connector has a 3.96mm (.156") pitch that allows the connection of a large capacity (7A) circuit, yet it has a slim, low-profile design, with a mounting height of 7.0mm (.276") and width of 6.2mm (.244").
Easy and secure contact mounting
The housing and contact are secured by the housing lance and the contact lance which make use of the contact spring. The contact is easily inserted into the housing with little force, and is locked securely.
Improved solderability
The part of the contact which is to be inserted into the printed circuit board has a wider area to be soldered. Solderability of the contact is thus improved when mounted onto a printed circuit board.
Polarizing boss
Connectors with or with out polarizing boss are available. A boss on the bottom of the housing prevents the connector from being mounted on the printed circuit board in reversed polarity.
