EAO Push Button Contact Block, Snap-Action Element, 5A Switching Current - 61 Series - 61-8470.12
Keep your machinery up and running with this push button contact block from EAO. It changes the contact position and lets current flow to the electric circuit for reliable operation. For hands-on control of your machine, pair it with a 2-position push button or selector switch from the 61 series to turn your device on or off in a snap. As it comes with built-in pins that you can solder to your circuit, you'll get a sturdy connection you can rely on.
Features & Benefits
• Switching current of 5A for use in low-power systems
• Robust silver contacts are highly conductive and resistant to corrosion for reliable switching
Applications
• Telecommunications
• Automotive manufacturing
• HVAC systems
• Panel building
What's the difference between snap-action and slow-make switching?
In snap-action switching, the contacts will immediately change position no matter how fast you press the push button. For slow-make switching, the contact movement is directly linked to the pressing of the push button, so the change in position is precise. Thanks to the rapid movement of the snap-action contacts, there's less mechanical friction between them, which reduces the risk of wear for a longer service life.
