Schmersal Non-Contact Safety Switch, 13mm Depth, 36mm Length - BPS 260-2


Use this safety switch from Schmersal to efficiently improve workplace safety in industrial environments. It's designed to be used on movable machine guards and articulating robot arms. The reed switch works with a magnetic actuator to stop the machine when guard doors are opened to prevent accidental contact with hazardous parts.

This component has a fibreglass-reinforced thermoplastic housing that offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use in most industrial environments. It also has an IP67 (ingress protection) rating, so it can withstand dust and temporary immersion in water for use in wet and humid environments.
