RS PRO Grey ABS Project Box, 231 mm x 212 mm x 67 mm


This RS PRO project box is designed to shield your electronics from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI). It can be used to house electronic components while offering excellent protection.

Made from ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic, the box boasts a high resistance to corrosive chemicals and physical impact. Lightweight but durable, it has moulded bosses for PCB mounting, with additional slots for chassis rail mounting. The maximum PCB size accepted by this box is 200 mm by 197 mm when mounted horizontally, or 203 mm by 57 mm when mounted vertically.

The nickel acrylic lining protects the components in the box from both RFI and EMI. The scratch, heat and impact resistance of this box make it ideal for housing a range of electronic projects. Typical applications include benchtop test equipment, medical analysers and industrial control systems.
