RS PRO 1 m x 4 mm Diameter 303S31 Stainless Steel Rod

Add this one-metre RS PRO stainless steel rod to your toolbox for your next building or engineering project. You can use it to produce masonry structures, fasteners and components for machinery. It's non-magnetic and can be used safely in areas sensitive to magnetism.
For ease of use, the stainless steel bar contains sulphur to ensure it's pliable and simple to work with. The rod has a hardness of Brinell Scale 262 HB, which is regarded as a mild steel. It's easy to cleanly cut the material, so you'll save yourself from doing time-consuming machining.
This hardwearing bar is made from austenitic stainless steel. This means it's highly resistant to rust and tarnishing even in wet and warm conditions, so will last for longer. It's commonly used in residential and commercial settings, from industrial plants and construction sites to home garages.
