RS PRO Black ABS Enclosure


Get the very best in enclosures with the RS PRO black series. Our enclosures are made from high-impact ABS with protection from dust and water ingress. Upon inspection, the enclosure has a flanged lid mounted by four M3 machine screws, plastic standoffs in the lid for PCB mounting and a polished finish. ;Inside you will find integral mounting guides to accept 1.6 mm PCBs and a ;PCB adaptor can be used when horizontal mounting is required. During operation, these enclosures are resistant to temperatures of up to 80°C and come with an IP54 rating

    Can the enclosure be used outside?;This enclosure has an IP54 rating so only protected from water spray, so this product is not recommended for outside use.;If the gasket accessory is used, the IP rating increases to IP65 which can protect against water ingress, making it more suitable for use outside.
