Belden Unterminated Cat6a Cable, 7mm OD, 500m Length - 2202ELY.00500

Use this Cat6a (category 6a) cable from Belden for applications that need a high-speed Ethernet connection. It's made up of four twisted pairs of conductors to reduce interference and noise, and the copper conductor material has excellent conductivity to ensure a reliable connection. This cable supports high-speed ethernet connections of 10GBase-T (10Gigabit), 100Base-T (100Gigabit) and 1000Base-T (1000Gigabit). It's simple to terminate by untwisting and crimping the cores for connection to a port. A generous 500m length means you can use it in large-scale installations or cut it down to size according to your needs.

Features & Benefits

• FPE (foamed polyethylene) insulation ensures stable performance for reliable data transmission

• Colour-coded cores for ease of identification and connection

• LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) outer jacket produces low levels of smoke and toxic fumes in the event of a fire

• Wide operating temperature range of -30°C to +60°C for use in a variety of demanding environments

Applications

• Computer networks

• Data centres

• Broadcasting station

• Telecommunications

Is this cable shielded?

This Belden Cat6a cable has both an inner and outer shield. A combination of aluminium and polyester tape protects the internal twisted cores from EMI (electromagnetic interference). The braided tinned copper outer shield has high corrosion resistance and prevents rust for long-lasting protection.
