    Electromechanical Interface Relays

    Electromechanical interface relays are special types of electrical relays that guarantee safe and reliable transmission of digital signals, crucial to the functioning of automated systems. They're used with components that are isolated from each other and, due to differences in their electric potential or voltage, cannot allow for a direct connection.

    How do electromechanical interface relays work?

    Electromechanical Interface relay modules are provided with galvanic isolation (amplifying and isolating signals) between the receiving and final controlling systems of the relay. This helps to protect the signals from any interference. They guarantee electrical and information compatibility and also implement the required algorithms for the interaction of functional components of special control instruments.

    Although general purpose relays also have some level of isolation of the output circuits from the input circuits, this function is only secondary and not decisive. In interface relay modules, the property of galvanic isolation is decisive and has been repeatedly intensified.
