    Working Principle of Photoelectric Sensors

Polarising filters are used to distinguish between genuine interruptions by objects and false signals from other reflective surfaces.     Diffuse Sensors

    Diffuse sensors integrate the transmitter and receiver within the same housing. They detect objects based on the light reflected directly from the target back into the sensor. This setup simplifies installation as only one device needs to be mounted. Diffuse photoelectric sensors are suitable for applications where the object's distance from the sensor is short and consistent.

    A common use is in consumer electronics manufacturing, where they ensure components are present and correctly placed before assembly.
