Bel Stewart RJ45 Modular Plug


This Bel Stewart RJ45 modular plug is ideal for Ethernet and telecom applications. It comes with a load bar and anti-snag strain relief boot for additional protection of the RJ45 connector. This connector is designed to fit solid or stranded wires.

Copper alloy, electro-polished contacts ensure reliability for 1000 insertion cycles. The body of the connector is made from UL 94-V0 plastic and the plugs also have a load bar for ease of assembly.

This is an 8P8C connector which is one of the most popular choices for computer networking and telecommunications applications. It stands for 8 position 8 contact.

This RJ45 modular plugs meet EIA/TIA Category 6 (Cat6) component standard when terminated to a Category 6 compliant cable, and are field installable with a Category 6 termination tool.

Shielded vs. Unshielded

Shielded RJ45 connectors feature a metal casing inside and, when used with a shielded cable, prevents interference of signal across the length of the cable. Unshielded RJ45 connectors do not have this casing. Shielded version are suitable for applications which may cover a longer distance.
