NCP1271ADAPGEVB - 57W Adapter Evaluation Board, On Semiconductor
The ON Semiconductor NCP1271ADAPEVB provides a working example circuit using NCP1271D65R2G (RS 786-8890) PWM Controller. The 19 V, 3.0 A circuit delivers more than 85% from universal input (85 Vac to 265 Vac).
The no load standby consumption is 83 mW at 230 Vac. The NCP1271 is one of the latest fixed-frequency current-mode PWM switching controllers with soft-skip standby operation for low-level audible noise. Integrated high-voltage start up for saving PCB space and power and adjustable skip level to minimise standby power and (4) optional external latch protection features.
