Allen Bradley PLC I/O Module For Use With SLC 500 Series, 125V DC, 265V AC - 1746-OW16
This I/O (input/output) module from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range is a core component for operating your SLC 500 series PLC (programmable logic controller). It communicates data between a CPU (central processing unit) and process control devices. This allows you to use your PLC to send commands to machinery for factory automation. The module has 16 I/O points with eight points on each of the two commons. These can connect to the PLC, secondary devices and power supplies.
Features and Benefits
• 0.1ms (milliseconds) response time for instantaneous switching• Operates with both AC (alternating current) and DC (direct current) flows for versatile use• Backplane current of 0.170A at 5V to 0.180A at 24V, which limits throughput and prevents current overloads
Standards and Certifications
• UL (Underwriters' Laboratories)• CSA (Canadian Standards Association)• CE (Conformité Européenne)• NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association)• ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority)
What output type is this I/O module?
ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014
BSEN 61340-5-1:2007
BSEN 61340-5-1:2007
This I/O module is a relay output type that allows for reliable transmission of digital signals. It also ensures information compatibility and keeps components isolated from one another.
