The Mitutoyo QuantuMike special digital micrometre has a measurement range of 0mm to 25mm with an accuracy ±1μm. This is an innovative device that offers movement 4 times as fast as a standard micrometre. Its rapid action is backed up by a highly stable frame and heat Shield to provide professional results and high accuracy. The QuantuMike has a ratchet on the thimble, as well as the speeder. The micrometres are free from measurement error and physical deterioration due to routine exposure to water, cutting oil or coolant. It achieves protection by using encoders that are inherently immune to contamination where exposure is inevitable. It is combined with comprehensive sealing techniques and extremely oil-resistant materials to guarantee a long working life under normal operating conditions.
