CC2640 series 2.4GHz RF System-on-Chip


The SimpleLink™ CC2640 is a Cortex-M3/M0 based wireless System-On-Chip designed for 2.4GHz Bluetooth Smart wireless protocol applications. The CC26xx can function either as a Wireless Network Processor (a device running the wireless protocol stack, with the application running on a separate MCU), or as a stand-alone SoC. The Bluetooth Low Energy controller is embedded into ROM. The ROM also contains a bootloader that can be used to reprogram the device using SPI or UART. The CC2640 is ideal for battery powered and energy harvesting Bluetooth Smart applications.
