RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Flat Bar, 20 mm x 3 mm x 1 m
A stable and versatile option, this flat aluminium bar from the RS PRO range is widely used in high-stress construction and manufacturing environments.
Made from the medium-strength aluminium alloy 6082, the metal bar has outstanding corrosion-resistance, so it's a long-lasting choice for outdoor use. It's also an excellent heat and electricity conductor and has a thermal conductivity of 180 W/mk. With a tensile strength of 310 Min MPA, it can take a significant load or stress before it stretches or breaks.
Each flat bar is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant and, as part of the RS PRO series, has been stringently quality-tested. The bars come in 1-metre lengths with a width of 20 mm and thickness of 3 mm. Their flat narrow shape makes them a versatile choice for transport applications, including bridges and trusses.
