RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Flat Bar, 50 mm x 6 mm x 1 m
These flat aluminium bars are widely used in construction and manufacturing industries because of their stability and versatility.
Produced from the medium-strength aluminium alloy 6082, the bars have excellent corrosion resistance, making them suitable for long-term exposure outdoors. The bars have a tensile strength of 310 Min MPA, so they can take a significant load or stress before they stretch or break. The aluminium alloy is also an excellent heat and electricity conductor and has a thermal conductivity of 180 W/mk.
Each flat bar carries the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) certificate of compliance and has been thoroughly quality-tested as part of the RS PRO range. The bars come in 1-metre lengths with a width of 50 mm and thickness of 6 mm. Their flat narrow shape makes them a versatile choice for machining applications.
