RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Square Bar, 12 mm x 12 mm x 1 m
For highly-stressed applications, such as the construction of bridges, cranes and trusses, use this square aluminium bar from RS PRO. As it's graded 6082-T6, the metal bar can be used in machining and welding applications.
With a tensile strength of 295 MPa, the metre-long bar is extremely durable and can withstand a high level of weight before it warps or breaks. The solid square bar has narrow sides of just 12 mm. Corrosion-resistant – due to its high-quality aluminium alloy construction – it's suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
As part of the RS PRO series, the product is extensively tested for quality and consistency. Packaged in controlled facilities, this aluminium bar complies with ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards for preventing damage from electrostatic discharge. It's commonly used in transport projects.
