FPC Connectors
FPC Connectors or flexible printed circuit connectors are products that have been created for the assembly of specially designed circuits. Flexible electronics, also known as flex circuits, is a technology for assembling electronic circuits by mounting electronic devices on flexible plastic substrates, such as polyimide, PEEK or transparent conductive polyester film.
What are FPC Connectors used for?
These type of connectors are suitable for use in a broad range of applications such as mobile phones, GPS, notebook PCs, data terminals, LCD TVs, digital and video cameras and other small handheld devices that connect to an LCD.
What is the difference between FFC and FPC Connectors?
FPC connector circuits can be made by etching flexible copper foil in different ways to get single-sided, double-sided and multi-layer structure flexible circuit boards. Whereas FFC connector circuits are finished with the flat copper foil folded between the insulating foil upper and down layers, this product is relatively simple and is thicker in thickness.
