Wire to Board Cables
Wire to board cables are ideal for applications that require connectivity between cables and PCB (printed circuit boards). These cables feature wire-to-board connectors already attached, allowing for quick and easy installation with PCB applications. Wire to board cables are available in a wide range of sizes and connector types, offering flexibility and precision.
Types of wire to board cables
Wire to board cables are available with different types of connectors, most notably IDC and micro IDC. Insulation-Displacement Connectors, or IDC connectors are commonly used in ribbon cable assemblies. IDC connectors feature sharp pins that penetrate the ribbon cable when installed, creating a connection to the wire. Wire to board cables that feature micro IDC connectors are ideal for smaller applications and devices with minimal space.
