Thermocouple & Extension Wire Type K, -60°C → +350°C 2 Core Glass Fibre Sheath 100 m
Need a thermocouple and extension wire to withstand extreme temperatures? This Type K cable from the RS PRO range will operate up to temperatures of +350˚C and down to -60˚C and is insulated with glass fibre and silicone varnish for heat resistance and flexibility. It also comes with a stainless steel overbraid for added protection against corrosion. High-temperature thermocouples are commonly used to measure temperature in industrial applications such as kilns, diesel engines and gas turbine exhausts.
The 100-m cable has two cores of seven strands, each with a cross-sectional area of 0.2 mm. For your peace of mind, it's been stringently tested to ensure it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007). It's also RoHS compliant so you can be sure it contains only minimal levels of hazardous substances.
