AMPLIVAR splices terminals designed for terminating copper and/or aluminium magnet wire to itself or in combination with standard solid or stranded lead wire. These AMPLIVAR wire splices are insulation displacing avoiding the need to pre-strip the wire. The wire barrel contains sharp edged serrations that, during crimping, pierce the insulation of the magnet wires providing a large contact area for a superior electrical connection. At the same time, the magnet wire is forced into the serrations inside the barrel. These AMPLIVAR splice connectors produce a crimp with an excellent tensile strength and resistance to vibration and corrosion. Connections made with these AMPLIVAR splice terminals are free from contaminant such as stripper residue and solder flux resulting in a high-quality electrical connection. Up to three magnet wires can be terminated at the same time in one barrel. Copper and Magnet wire or a combination of both can be crimped. Magnet wire can also be combined with pre-stripped solid or stranded lead wires.
Features and Benefits
