RS PRO 10wp Solar Panel Kit Bulk Pack

The RS PRO 10wp Solar Panel Kit is great for weekend caravan trips and low power projects such as powering electric fences or charging power tools. It contains a reverse feed diode to prevent back feed and is supplied with all the necessary cable, connections and detailed instructions.This kit is great for small power consumption projects and perfect for use in boats and caravans during weekend trips. The 10-watt solar panel kit can even be used for projects as diverse as powering electric fences or charging small power tools. The 10-watt panel provides a continuous trickle feed maintaining and extending the life of any 12-volt battery. The 10-watt solar panel is fitted with a blocking diode to prevent reverse current drain.

How Much Power?

The daily power production of a solar panel can be calculated by multiplying the panels peak power rating by between 0.5 and 6 depending on the time of year, angle and location. For example; an 80Watt solar panel produces a peak current of 4.55A.

What is the best way to install solar panel systems?

Installing solar panels at a 55-65° angle increases optimal wintertime performance. For a year-round power supply, solar panels can be combined with wind chargers.
Solar systems can be connected in parallel to increase power and in series to increase voltage.
To complete the system deep cycle batteries, a voltage regulator and electrical cables are required to get up and running. A range of convenient mounting kits are available for pole or wall mounting.

Do solar panels work on cloudy days?
