Eaton MTL Series Signal Conditioner, Voltage Input, Voltage Output

This signal conditioner from Eaton allows an on/off device in a hazardous area to be controlled by a volt-free contact or logic signal in a safe area. It's suitable for use with low-power devices that are certified as intrinsically safe or classified as simple, non-energy storing apparatus. This includes LEDs, solenoids and alarms. For greater safety, the device includes a second safe-area switch connection. This lets you disable an output and override a control signal if necessary. The signal conditioner features a green LED power indicator and a yellow output status indicator for quick and convenient visual inspection.

It's easy to identify the safe and hazardous connectors thanks to its convenient colour-coding. Safe connectors are grey and the hazardous connection points are blue.
