RS PRO Polypropylene Plastic Film, 304 mm x 200 mm x 0.25 mm
This flame retardant and chemical resistant polypropylene plastic film from RS PRO provides a durable and strong insulation solution for a variety of uses. The electrical insulating film is flexible and thin, at a thickness of just 0.25 mm.
With an outstanding dielectric strength of 1460 kV/mm, this plastic film gives effective electrical insulation and absorbs less than 0.1% of moisture as it's non-hygroscopic. The thin and lightweight thermoplastic can be scored or folded easily to fit your requirements, and, as it is strong, it won't split or crack. Polypropylene (PP) film is flame-retardant and resistant to chemicals and so is an essential choice to create sturdy insulation in industrial environments. Shield against electrical surges with this film, thanks to its density of 1035 kg/m³ and resilient dielectric breakdown.
Recognised by world-leading safety tester Underwriters Laboratories (UL), this product is safe for use in electrical systems.
