RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Flat Bar, 30 mm x 10 mm x 1 m
Commonly used in the construction and manufacturing industries, this flat aluminium bar from the RS PRO range is versatile and strong.
Made from the medium-strength aluminium alloy 6082-T6, the bar is corrosion-resistant so is well-suited to outdoor use. With a tensile strength of 310 Min MPa, it can bear a significant load before it warps or breaks and is suitable for high-stress applications such as in transport or bridge construction. The aluminium alloy is an excellent heat and electricity conductor and has a thermal conductivity of 180 W/mk.
The bar is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant and, as part of the RS PRO series, has been stringently quality-tested. The metal bar comes in 1-metre lengths with a width of 20 mm and thickness of 10 mm. Its flat narrow shape makes it a versatile choice for machining applications.
