Product Details
ITT Cannon Circular Connector
The ITT Cannon Neptune series 15-contacts (13-signal contacts and 2-power contacts), the male circular connector has a socket-type connection. This panel mount connector has a voltage rating of 25V and a current rating of up to 16A per contact. This connector is mounted from the rear of a panel via a single 'D' hole for in-line connections. This connector is made from nylon and metal coupling ring with stainless steel bayonet pins integrally moulded into the body. This circular plastic connector comes with a metal coupling nut and bayonet retention mechanism, providing the cost and weight benefits of a plastic connector with the durability of a metal connector.
Neptune:
Based on the Trident Ringlok series, the Neptune range combines power and signal contacts. Widely used in automotive, marine and process control industries, it features a strong bayonet coupling system with standard and reversed pin/socket combinations. A wide selection of backshell accessories, rear housings and dust caps are available. To maintain IP67 rating, the rear of the connectors have a rubber seal, which is pierced upon contact insertion. The seal is held in place by a screw ring (as supplied) which can be replaced with the backshell of appropriate size. For IP67 rating to be maintained, wire insulation diameters should be within the following diameters: Signal wires: 1.7 to 2.7mm, Power wires: 2.7 to 4.0mm. The number of contacts shown as power/signal, e.g.: 2//13.
