Need to protect your terminal blocks from tampering or breakage? Quickly complete an AP3 series cover (743-6493) with this handy end block from Phoenix Contact. It's fitted with a rear clip, so it simply snaps onto the ends of any standard NS 35 DIN rail. At the front of the block is a nut, which ensures covers are held securely in place. The nut's knurled plastic design makes it durable and easy to fit without reaching for specialist tools.
Made from polyamide, the block's body is strong and flame retardant to ensure burning stops in 30 seconds. This material is thermally stable, so it has no trouble handling operating temperatures between -5°C and +70°C. Contact covers and this accessory are useful in industrial and plant environments to safeguard workers from electric shocks and stop dust and liquid splashes from damaging terminal blocks.
