What are Steel Tubes?

Steel tubes are lengths of material formed with a central void along its length. Steel tubes are versatile products that are commonly used for applications in many sectors both industrial and DIY. Suitable for use in structural frames, general fabrications and construction steel tubes can be an efficient and robust solution in many applications.

Used primarily in construction, mild steel lengths offer high tensile strength and are a durable and long-lasting option. Types of Steel Tube

Tubes are not just supplied in a basic range of materials, but also have a variety of material grades within that list. Many of these material types are also offered in a range of forms.

Tube form refers to the cross-sectional shape of a tube. Cylindrical tubes are referred to as round form tubes whereas other four-sided tubes can be either square or rectangular in form. Square tube features 4 equal length sides where a rectangular tube has a differing width to its height.
