    Identification Sensors

Identification Sensors are used in a broad range of domestic and industrial applications that require detection technology. Identification technology such as RFID Technology can be used to detect an object from various distances. This is useful in access management applications.

Other types of sensors can also function as a barcode reader that can detect and read barcodes from multiple distances. This type of detection technology is useful in retail and industrial settings.

    How do they work?

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) uses high frequency (HF) and ultra high frequency (UHF) detection to automatically identify tags attached to an object.

An RFID System consists of a transponder, radio receiver and transmitter. When the RFID reader device is triggered by an electromagnetic pulse, the RFID tag or object transmits data back to the reader.

This type of detection is used in a wide range of industrial applications, for example, tracking inventory. These types of sensors can also be used in applications for detecting objects such as:

    • Medical & Pharmaceutical
    • Schools and Universities
    • Retail
    • Access Control
    • Transportation and Logistics
