RS PRO M6 x 50 mm Shoulder Bolt
These RS PRO M6 x 50 mm shoulder bolts are straight mechanical fasteners you would use when your rotating parts need to move or pivot. The bolts have a long unthreaded cylindrical shoulder below the head that terminates with a threaded length that is smaller in diameter. They act as a shaft for rotating elements such as bearings and axles or as a guide for sliding parts.
These shoulder bolts feature a small cylindrical head with hexagonal sockets and tall shanks, allowing you to easily tighten them with a hex or Allen key where there's not enough space to use a wrench. The shoulder bolts are made of 12.9-grade steel for strength and durability.
You would generally see shoulder bolts applied in the manufacturing and repair of machines and vehicles, in general engineering and in the construction industry. The product is subject to rigorous electrostatic discharge (EDS) control testing and complies with Electrostatic Control Standards ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007, which means you can rest assured the risk of electrostatic discharge (ESD) is minimised.
