Evaluation Board for ADXL345 3-Axis ±2g/±4g/±8g/±16g Digital Accelerometer

The EVAL-ADXL345Z is a simple breakout board that enables easy connection into an existing system. The ADXL345 is a digital-output, 3-axis ±3g accelerometer, whose low power consumption and built-in features make it ideal for use in static acceleration of gravity in tilt sensing applications. Due to its small size, the EVAL-ADXL345Z board has minimal effect on the performance of the microcontroller system and therefore ideal for evaluation of the ADXL345 accelerometer. Note that the ADXL345 must interface for communication via serial-SPI or I²C.

Power consumption scales automatically with bandwidth

Fixed 10-bit resolution
Full resolution, where resolution increases with g range, up to 13-bit resolution at ±16g
Embedded, patent pending FIFO technology minimizes host processor load
