Servo Modules for TinkerKit

Servo Modules are a combination of an electric motor and potentiometer that you can add to your TinkerKit robotics projects via the the TinkerKit Sensor Shield. Each module connects to the shield using a 3-pin connector. Here at RS Components we have the micro servo (7589355) and the standard servo (7589364).

Features & Benefits of the Micro Servo Module
•Analogue modulation
•5 V torque (1.00 kg-cm)
•5 V speed (0.12 sec/60 °)
•180° rotation angle
•Weight: 9 g
•Dimensions: 22.2 x 11.6 x 21.5

Features & Benefits of the Servo Module
•Analogue modulation
•5 V torque (3.30 kg-cm)
•5 V speed (0.17 sec/60 °)
•360° rotation angle
•44 g weight
•Dimensions: 42 x 20.5 x 39.5 mm

To control the Servo modules you can use the Servo library;

Arduino TinkerKits

The TinkerKit range from Arduino is the perfect platform to prototype Arduino-based designs without the need for breadboards or soldering irons. Whether it is for experimentation within the classroom or for new technology projects, TinkerKits aim for simple and quick set-up. The TinkerKit sensors and actuators connect up to the TinkerKit interface, the Sensor Shield, which in turn connects to your Arduino board.
We offer various types of kits from base level to pro, and various sensor, actuator and shield singular components.
