ADP1048-600-EVALZ Evaluation Board

The evaluation board for the ADP1048 digital power factor controller (PFC), from Analog Devices, features an interleaved boost PFC topology operating at 100KHz switching frequency. This provides high power factor and low THD. The evaluation board the ADP1048 digital PFC for power factor correction and accurate AC power metering. It also offers protection features such as OCP, OVP and AC line fault protection. With high efficiency, the ADP1048 evaluation board has a low component count and test points which enable users to evaluate the ADP1048 efficiently.
Analog Devices’ ADP1048-600-EVALZ is for the evaluation of the ADP1048 digital PFC within a switching power supply application. The ADP1048-600-EVALZ board’s software enables the user to control and monitor the ADP1048’s internal registers. The board is set up for the ADP1048 to act as boost power factor correction circuit with a rated load of 600W.
